Want to save time in the kitchen? Double your batch.

That’s right, cook twice as much the first time. Then freeze the extra for another night.

Most meals will only take an extra 5 – 10 minutes extra to make or assemble a double batch. Save yourself from having to repeat all the prep work the next time you have that meal.

If you do this at least every other time you make a meal fresh you can build up a nice little collection of meals for those crazy nights when you get home late or you have a practice to get to.

What did I make tonight? Spinach Lasagna Rolls from The Girl Who Ate Everything. One pan went in the oven tonight. I assembled a second while waiting for the first to bake. It is going in the freezer with baking instructions taped to the lid.
